Hi, I’m Cheryl Ann.
I’m a writer, adventurer, and the founder of The Human Mountain Connection.
I believe life’s most transformative moments happen when we challenge ourselves, step beyond comfort zones, and connect deeply—with nature, with others, and with ourselves.

After moving from the Ozarks to the wild, rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest, I found healing and purpose through trail running, scuba diving, storytelling, and community building. While exploring North America’s most breathtaking landscapes— I aim to inspire others to live fully and intentionally.
As a published writer and public health professional, I blend vulnerability and strength in every piece I share. Whether I’m writing about loss, resilience, or summiting life’s literal and metaphorical mountains, my mission is clear: to empower others to find connection, courage, and meaning in their own journeys.
Let’s rise together.
